Bright Futures Scholarship

Earn your seat at the new Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Technology and Apprenticeship Center (AMETA).

Thank you for your interest in Mid-State’s Bright Future's Scholarship! This is a scholarship opportunity provided by Wisconsin Innovation Grant funding.

Twenty $5000 scholarships are available for NEW students planning to begin a program in Fall 2024. Students will receive $2500 in Fall 2024 and $2500 in Spring 2025. The scholarships are eligible in the following programs and will continue a rolling, progressive scholarship if maintaining eligibility.

Civil Engineering
Welding
Metal Fabrication
Automation and Instrumentation
Advanced Manufacturing
Mechanical Design

I understand that this scholarship only applies if I am enrolled in one of the AMETA eligible programs.

I understand that to continually qualify for this scholarship I must remain in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and a course completion rate above 70%.

I understand that I must be enrolled in at least 6 credits each term at the AMETA Center in Stevens Point, WI.

I understand that I must stay enrolled passed the add/drop date in order to receive the scholarship.

I understand that this scholarship is only valid for 4 consecutive terms.

I understand that this scholarship covers course tuition and course fees and does not cover textbooks and associated supplies.

I understand that this scholarship is limited to the first 20 applicants and is not based on merit.
